error message

Hey guys Hows everything?

I recently uninstalled a few shareware programs that I didn't like. now I keep getting an error message when I reboot my computer

C:\Program Files\CommonName\Toolbar\CNBabe.dLL

I looked all over for this CNBabe.dll file to no avail

I went to :common name: file but there is no toolbar file in it?? I did a search on CNBabe.dLL and nothing came up.

How do I get rid of this annoyance

Thanks guys.

Hi, the reason that you get the error message is because it can't find the dll - so now you should search the registry for it - and then delete the entry in the registry - be careful editing the registry is dangerous...and can destroy your Operating System -

Thanks Zaney

Seems like I'm not the only one with that problem eh.

rather then edit my registry, because I could not find the current user file?? I ended up going to "msconfig" startup tab and unchecking the CNBabe.dll box seemed to work
