i know this has been on here before, but i can't find it.
can anyone tell me how to setup win2k pro so that it'll boot directly to the desktop instead of asking someone to log in?

In Control Panel, under Tweak UI, Network tab, "Log on automatically at system startup", should be ticked....

Control Panel > Users > Passwords.
clear the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" box.

Click the Advanced tab.
clear the "Require users to press Ctrl-Alt-Del before logging on" box.

This only works if you arent trying to join a domain as well. There is a reg workaround for that, post bak if you need it.
