Can Win 3.1 be read by Win 98

Hi can I slave a drive that has Windows 3.1 to a Windows 98 Drive? Also can it be read by the Windows 98 drive?

Yes it can Win98 can read FAT32 as well as FAT volumes (win3.1).

One of my friends wants me to somewhat upgrade his computer. This computer presently runs 3.1 so I'm planning on loading Win 98 on another drive I also need to put in a cdrom.
