XP Multiple Registry Backups

In XP how do you change the Max Backup Copies from the default amount? In Win 98 you could edit scanreg.ini and change the amount of backups to whatever you wanted but this command doesn't work in XP.

XP uses restore points or checkpoints. I believe it tries to keep a weeks worth. The system should checkpoint each day and if you add/remove/change anything such as programs or hardware, it will do a checkpoint also. The only way I know of to change this is to add more disk space for restore points. It does it by disk.

You can manually set a restore point if you want.

Start->All Programs->Accessories->System Tools->System Restore

Course, I could be full of hooey too, but that's what I've used. It's not Win98 for sure.
