Arrr I cant Figure This One Out
I just moved out of the way of high speed, "sigh" anyway i have dial up right now, and it keeps auto connecting no matter what. i cant find any setting to stop it, can some one help me??

What have you tried so far? What OS are you using? Have you checked the Startup Folder? Have you scanned for trojans and spyware? Cricket

Check to see if there are any apps that may be looking for updates automatically.

im using xp
there was this option that kept coming up before like to turn on or off auto connect and now i want it off and i cant find it anywhere its reall quite anoying. ??? |

The auto connect options I believe are in you Internet Option under connections might try looking in there.

that option is off, but it still does it
anyone??? i really want to fix this wouldnt it be a shame if i had to format it, to get rid of it.

You more than likely have an application that upon startup will look for updates or is set to auto connect. I would check the preferences within your various apps to see if any are configured to do this.
