Smile Does Win98, Win Me Support Larger Capacity Hard dirve?

guys, have some questions for you, Does Windows 98, Window Me support larger capacity hard drives such as, 60 Gig and above. because i hear some one say that, Window 98 and Window Me won't support large hard drive afer 60 Gig and beyond, isn't that true, or is not true, if it is true isnt' there a way to get around it. thank you

For the most part, a new controller card, or a motherboard update can get fairly recent systems going with the larger drives that are facing bios-limit issues. Once past 32gb and 60gb, the issues shift to Win9x disk utility problems, which are fairly easily solved. All the larger drives come with disk setup utilities that make them fairly painless to install. If you use the manufacturer's utilities, even the 127gb limit can be overcome without much trouble.

Microsoft recommends using the NT/2000/XP family of operating systems and the NTFS file system for drives greater than 32gb.

Also, it depends on if you partition the drive into smaller pieces. I run a pair of 80 gig ATA133 drives in my Win 98.2 box and don't have a problem as Windows "sees" a bunch of smaller drives.
