Hi Dragon, I don't think there is a need for drivers. Unless I am mistaken, the ability to utilize a drive's ATA burst speed lies in the motherboard or a PCI controller card....What mobo will this be on?

GA-7VRXP
it has support for ATA/133 but the motherboard also came with some ATA/133 drivers on a disk that it says to install. when i tried under winxp it said that the drivers were not signed and could cause system unstability. |

You do not need that with XP if that board has VIA chipset and those are part of the 4in1 drivers. XP has driver support for VIA.
