Hewlett Packard HD Backup

I have a friend that has a HP Pavillion 7935. He has Win XP Home and all the HP Software, Drivers, Ect. on a separate partition from which he can restore his system. He has wasted 50 bucks on toll calls to HP trying to get a "Restore CD"
Is there any way he can make a restore cd? We have even wondered if we could duplicate his Hd on another HD and keep it on the shelf for a spare?
Any Ideas Guys and Gals

Get yourself a copy of Norton Ghost and clone your HDD on to a CD. It will be just as good as am HP restore CD.
