MCSE 2000 or XP/.NET

I'm thinking of starting the process to get my MCSE, but am wondering if I should go down the path of the Windows 2000 curriculum or the XP Professional/.NET? I am thinking of starting in about a month, so I'm hoping that the .NET stuff will be out in the next few, since I can take the 20-270 test for XP anyway. Do you think that businesses will migrate to XP/.NET or 2000? Thanks for the help.

I would recommend the 2000 route because many businesses don’t feel that there is a need to upgrade to XP when what they have does the job, in fact you will find that NT 4 is still widely used. This will give you a great foundation in which you could probably study and pass the 70-270 on your own. Last I heard .NET won't be released until the later half of next year.
