Can't ID icon in Notification Area
This appears sporadically in Notification Area and I have been unable to trace where it is from. It originally seemed to appear when Outlook sent mail with an attachment but that turned out to not be the case. Right-clicking and left-clicking just make it disappear. Any ideas?
Not a big deal - just curious. Thanks in advance. The Old Man |

I usually see that icon when Windows is warning me of something, like it just ran outta physical ram and it's starting to use part of my HD as memory.
I suspect it can warn or indicate other things though.

Thanks for the replies NK and Statica.
I've looked in the customization area several times and not found anything. As luck would have it, just now it appeared again and I looked in the cutomization area and it was there! It shows a "Windows - Fatal Application Exit". Interesting. In looking at the customization area recently, I noticed that the icons and the messages do not match up. Maybe that's why it was so hard to track down. In the attached example, a TweakXP AdBlocker icon is with the Unused Notification message; a Symantec NAV icon is with an unopened mail message and a WorldTime icon is with the VNCViewer. Weird. I looked in the event log and found that Kerio Personal Firewall has been quietly blowing up with a MaxBufferSize exceeded condition. Gotta track that one down. Thanks for the help guys.
