Angry Fire Illegal Operation!!!!!

Everytime I try to access this program on my floppy I get this message

The program is???

Is this only with the program or is this whenever you try to access the floppy?

Hi plovex2,

What program are you trying to use?

Have you tried replacing anything yet? Floppy? Floppy cable? RAM?

Could you provide your system specs and which operating system you're using.

Did you try to copy the program to the hard disk and then access it?

The computer I am using is a 300 mhz k6/2 processor with 160 mb sdramm, the program is Motherboard Detector. No I have not tried to put it onto the Hard drive, I just want to know why the message.

Maybe the program tries to write something on the write-protected floppy, it fails and an exception is thrown.

You may still have a hardware problem but that program must be run from the hard drive.
