win 2000 boot

i uninstalled some programs from one of my comps yesterday, went to reboot, and all it did was show my desktop wall paper...nothing else...i pushed ctrl+alt+del and it showed that nothing was running at all.....what is goin on?

What did your desktop show before uninstalling the progs? Do you mean that you can't find "My Computer" and "My Documents" any more? If so right-click your desktop, select properties, then go to Desktop > Customize Desktop, and check the icons you want, then click OK.
As for the alt+ctrl+del problem, after starting windows, the list in the first tab will be empty, select the Processes tab, and you'll get a list of the processes running on your computer.

when i pust ctrl+alt+del, it only gives me that window, and no tabs to push...i cant quite remember, but all right clicking does is make a clicking noise coming from my mouse...im sure this is normal tho.....
