Greetings From Texas
Hummmm, I haven't even messed with all of that, and want. I am fine, -no crashes-- no virus in months !. Here is my question------ I have always had the Automatic Update. When it pops up it asks me if I am ready to install. More times then not,I say, sure go ahead. I wanted to know from you guys if SP 1 would come to me that way ? I don,t know if I have it . I had no intenton of me downloading it and putting it in my computer. Maybe it has already sliped by me. Gosh, I just say yes to the prompnt everytime it pops up and keep on surfing while it is installed----I guess I am Duhhhhh!- Duhhhh!, in my brain. ----------------------Donald |

Hi Donald,
The SP-1 download is over 120MB in size and I think you would have noticed if it were being downloaded to your PC. I'm not at my WinXP computer right now, but open My Computer and click on Help> About Windows and it should show you if SP-1 has been installed on your PC. Cricket

Go to control panel > system properties. It will list the service pack number under the general tab.
