Very Sorry Static and All--Read
Gosh, I just now noticed the double post! I screwed up. Is what happened was that when I finished typing and then got read to post it brought up a page saying "This Page Timed Out----Reload ". I tried reload again and got the same thing so, I started all over. I copied my message and went to the address bar and put a new URL for pcmech. I logged in and pasted my message and it didn;t time out this time and went right on through. When I checked the board ,I then saw the mutiple posts and said --O!--(blank)----I should have checked the board first to see if it were there. I'll know next time.---- Very Sorry Guys for my mess up----------------Donald

Don't worry Donald. In fact I think your triple post can help us in some way. Because my question is: who controls the time out? The server? Is it a setting you can modify? It has happened to me before but only when my connection drops.
BTW I have posted twice before because of my connection dropping. You know, I have dial-up.

Don't sweat it Donald. At least you had an actual reason for doing it. What gets annoying is people that post a question in one forum, then post the same question in two or three more, thinking they'll get more responses when, in reality, they're really getting less because less people are working off of multiple posts instead of sharing thoughts on the same post. Geez, was that a run-on sentence or what!
Anyway, it's cool dude.

Dont worry abt it Donald, we generally have a feel for when it was done accidentally vs when someone does it on purpose. Anyway, I've deleted your other threads.

Thanks So Much For The Kind Words--Statica !-- force_flow2002 !--Nuclear Krusader !--juppy !
Sorry for getting back to my reply. Late last night my Son ran out of diesel in his pick up. He had bought a used pick up truck (with my Grandkids in it) and ran out of fuel. I had trouble finding the stuff. Never got it started. Left it there, took my truck with all of us in it , and drove way back in th country to his house. I got sick and finally made it back all the way to the city. Rested all day and back on the computer.------Thanks Again-----------Donald |
