How can I replace the Windows ME startup screen with my company logo? I found directions for doing it in Win98 by modifying the logo.sys file. I cannot find this file in ME.

I use tweakall, to replace the ME logo. Im sure there are other ways to do it but tweakall has a few other featurs
that I like. It can be downloaded from most major downlaod sites. |

Hi,
if there is no logo.sys file, simply make one. Only make a 256-color-bmp-file in 320x480 (or maybe 320x400, i'm not sure now), save it and rename this bmp file to LOGO.SYS. Oh yes, and put it into C:\WINDOWS directory (or maybe only C:\). But why do you want to change the ME logo ? The ME logo only appears for half a second. Or is there any possibility to see the logo during complete boot, like in Win9x ? RJ |
