Cab Files
I know I have done this before, but I can't seem to remember exactly where to go in the registry for this. A friend of mine has brought me a computer running Win98SE to do some general maintenence on. What I want to do is copy the Win98 CAB files to the hard drive so he does not need the disk in the future. I know there is a path that needs to be edited in the registry so the computer will not ask for the disk. Can someone refresh me, please?
Thanks

You know what though; that doesn't always work. Don't get me wrong; that works for the most part. But sometimes (not sure if it's for devices or what) but sometimes I'm prompted to enter the path of where the cabs are located. Keep in mind I am prompted longer after I completed the task that Redo40 suggested. I think there are a few places that need editing for that to always work.

You're right Iman74, I have had a few instances where it still asked for the path. But this will still make it a little easier for him overall. Thanks to both of you.
