Hi, i'm trying to run a web server with 2k server. i had a network running with 2k pro without alot of hassle. now i'm trying to use 2k server. i can't seem to get my internet connection going. i have the exact same settings as i do on my 2k pro machine
why isn't it working? any suggestions would be appreciated |

oh on another note. the 2k server will get an internet connection through the lan but it will not accept a connection directly from the modem

well on my pro machine if i were to connect directly to the modem i'd have it to automaticly obtain and ip address and it works. on the server machine i'd have to same exact thing and it wouldn't. if i could just get started there then i might not have as much problems

if you are getting an ip from modem, make sure your server is set to dhcp
