Msconfig......startup????
Need a little help...................In msconfig>>>>System Config Utility>>in the startup tab.
How can I remove a program no longer on my system but still remains in the startup? I remember reading or seeing but cann't remember or find? Thanks Dave |

in the msconfig under the start up tab uncheck it.
If the program is no longer installed in your system and is still in the list, u may need to use tweakui utility. I know it can get programs out of the add / remove programs area that are sometimes left after the program is uninstalled. I will try to get a link. http://download.com.com/3000-2341-28...ml?tag=lst-0-1 if this link don't work just goto www.download.com and search for tweakui That may not be the newest version and make sure you get one that matches your OS.
