Multi-boot OS sharing programs.......
...got win2k/xp in 2 partitions on one drive and all my original programs on a seperate drive. Each OS shares that programs drive. I've only recently installed this multi-boot system and have had no problems.
I would like to hear form others that do this and if there have been any conflicts having to (sometimes) reinstall program so Win2K sees it then installing so XP sees it. Know what I mean? oosik |

Just install each program under each OS. That writes the necessary entries in each one's registry, and they will share with (usually) no problems.
I have run such things as Eudora, ZoneAlarm, and AVG under 3 different OS's, installed to the same place, with no conflicts. |
