msconfig: taskmon versus mstask ?

What is the difference between taskmon.exe and mstask.exe ?
I guess one is the windows utility that schedules defraging etc. which is the only one I want in start up. What is the other ? Windows media player ?
Thanks,
Chris.

taskman.exe is the task manager (manages the execution of loaded tasks) - taskmon.exe is the task monitor (logs the order in which an application loads its modules for use during defragmentation, logfiles are stored in the APPLOG folder inside the WINDOWS folder and i believe ms task is the task scheduler
