scanner start-up
I have an HP scanjet 4200C attached to a PC with Windows ME.
When I start the PC the scanner starts automatically. How do I set the system so that the scanner only starts if I specifically ask it to? |

Go to "Start>Run" and type in MSCONFIG. Enter and click on the start-up tab and then uncheck the the box that refers to your scanner's start-up program.
