Moving IE Temp. Folder

Hi,
My temporary internet files are on my C:\

I want to move that folder to my G:\ drive...
so I click tools/internet options/Setting in the Temp. Internet files and click Move Folder. I move it to the Drive I want to.. I click ok after browsing to the drive i want..then i click ok again and then i get a window that says Windows will log you off ( all changed have been saved) click Ok to continue or cancel.

I click ok, then the whole Internet Explorer stops responding then i have to End-task it. Then when i check it. Its back on the C:\.

So i tried deleting the temp. folder from the tools/internet options and move the folder again. but it doesnt work..

Does G have enough room for it?
Have you tried completely removing the temp folder(s) before moving it?
Have you cleared the cookie cache?

There's three ways of doing this. The one you tried, and this:
Boot to a startup disk, change to c:\windows\tempor~1
Type: attrib -h -r -s -a *.*
Type: del *.*
hit Y
Restart.

and this:
Open Explorer (not IE).
Browse to c:\documents and settings\username\local settings\temporary internet files
Select all, and delete.

I assume once you got all the stuff deleted, you figured out how to move it to G:
I may not be the best, but I try.
