Hey Gang:
This may not be ther correct forum for this question, but it's a start!! I have still to trouble should this network, but thought someone else may have had this problemo: Friend of mine has a peer to peer network with 7 machines. Some are running WIn95, some Win98(se), one WinME and just recently added WinXP Home. He had everything networked, told me XP hooked him up automatically, and it was running well. But today, the XP machine has been running so slow as to be useless. It runs all local apps fine, just not stuff over the network! Not sure what protocols he has installed. Told me he was trying to install TCP/IP, but it didn;t seem to work, thinks maybe NetBUI is installed, but not sure! Any thoughts at this point?!?! Thanks, Larry |
