I installed Windows 98 on my computer four years ago. Now I want to upgrade to Win98 SE. Can I install Win98 SE without formatting. Or just install over Win98 ??? How do you install Win98 SE over Win 98????
Thanks, NN Last edited by nhnguyen01; 11-06-2002 at 08:42 PM. |

nhnguyen01,
Win98se is Win98 with the service packs installed. The only thing you would be missing is internet connection sharing. Carl |

It's usually a really good idea to do a format and clean install when moving up to a newer OS. That way, you won't bring all the "baggage" that the old OS has collected over the years. You'll end up with a snappier, better performing system. Cricket
