scandisk in ME

Why does it take several hours to run scandisk in ME? I'm talking about four hours.

Hi suitcase,

Are you doing a Thorough test or just the Standard test? The Thorough test will do a surface scan of the hard drive platters and, depending on how big your hard drive is, can take hours.
