Does anyone know of a replacement for Gator software? I need something that will fill in passwords on different Internet sites(the Microsoft version does not always work) and also keep my name and address and credit card information stored within it. It should have the ability to fill in the different fields automatically.

are you sure you want that much information just readily accessable on your computer?

To I guess I should've said a software program that will do this safely and reliably. But I thought you guys would know that that is what I meant. So the answer to my question is "there is no reliable safe software out there that can accomplish this". I cannot believe that this cannot be technically accomplished. Are you tell me even if I have firewalls set up that someone is always going to be able to get into my computer?

a firewall is your first line of defense, but it is penetrable. when you keep that much information all in one place, you're asking for trouble no matter what you're running.

Separate logins and passwords are intended to make it harder to steal your info. It is a bad idea to do what you want. It would be no different from having one key for your house, your cars, your safety deposit box, and everything else you lock up.
The issue is not whether it can be technically accomplished, the issue is whether that is a good idea or not. |

Go to the link below and at the bottom of the page you can find some non-Spyware replacements for Gator.
