Can't boot

Cleaned out PC with canned air, now it won't boot, even with boot disk. Only makes beeping sound, HD light comes on for about 20 seconds then goes out. Was having trouble with PCI communication device before I cleaned it...your basic from bad to worse.

Hi Sig Jumpmaster,

Go back into the case and make sure all the wires and cables are connected properly. Also make sure the RAM and cards are seated correctly and fully into their slots. Check the CPU too.

Just a thought in case you have not got your problem solved. Remove the cards, CPU, & memory. Use your can of air to gently blow out slots and re-install peripherals. Have you checked the "Beep" codes for your bios version? With today's mobo's it usually comes down to either video or memory as being the problem.
