Win98 Issue
Hi. All
I have just installed Win98 Second Edition. Now my question is ? My colour setting shows 16 colours with "ADAPTER TYPE" Standard PCI Graphic Adapter. How can i add True colours into this Adapter or how would i know what Video Adapter I am using. This is a built in adapter. I hope, I am making sense here. Pls help me here. Thanks. ps. I also have this driver CD for VGA but it has soo many other files and have tried all of them but nothing happens. |

was 98 your origional cd?
if you have a second "drivers only" cd try updating the driver file from the device manager for display adapter. if its a retail pc such as HP, Compaq, etc... then try looking up on the internet under your model number for specific drivers or even the name of the adapter. then you could look up drivers based on the name also are you sure you can't just up the switch/settings your display settings? you may just have to select those options in there. |

Since it has Onboard video why not post your pc's specs and then we can hunt down the proper driver for you. Actually all we would need is the make and model # of your mobo. Once you install the proper driver you should be able to get true colors. HTH
