XP windows update
When I'm trying to do the windows update and this is what I got from the page:
Thank you for your interest in Windows Update Windows Update is the online extension of Windows that helps you get the most out of your computer. You must be running a Microsoft Windows operating system in order to use Windows Update. could any1 tell me why I got that message and how do I get some updates? thank you... |

Do you try to visit a Windows Update page?
You should run the Windows Update program if you wish to update, not go to a website I believe it's in the root of the Start Menu Jim |

Also just open your ie browser and click tools>windows update,it will take you to the update page.

Yes you have to be using ie for this to work

IE is required for windows update to work.

yes, I'm using IE 6 SP1.. and Yes, I go to Start-->Programs--> Windows Update..... it's only happened when I installed SP1,, Microsoft installed Alexa on my system...
