Search Text Missing ?
Greetings From Texas
When my Search page comes up for me to see my options that I want, there is no text showing !. You know, Go to: >START>SEARCH . Everything above the Dog is just blue--no Text!. Now I can't search for files and folders, nothing there to click on. I have tried going back to restore points ,but no luck.. The System Restore didn't restore.-------------------------Donald |

If you move your mouse over where the text should be, does the pointer change to a hand anywhere? If so, maybe your text is set to the same color as the background.

Hi Statica ! I moved my arrow over where the text would be and it didn' change into a hand beckx020. I was hopeing that it would so that we would have something to work on from there.------#2--I downloaded and installed that patch Statica and I went from bad to worse. Now, the dog is gone and all that blue has turned into brown.. . As a rule for me and everybody out there,--before you download and install a program,OR, make any changes to your computer, ALWAYS MAKE A RESTORE POINT before you do all these things. A word to the wise.----Anyway, I'm gain to try anything on the problem I still have. I am trying to think of things to try. As for now, I can't do a search for files and flolders.--------------Thanks For Your Replys--------------------Donald |

it happened to me some time ago. i couldn't search anything , no dog. lol. after installing the sp1 somehow it got fixed. don't know how.
