2000 clean install

i plan on buying a computer with lindows installed but am not sure if i want to keep lindows installed. i have a full version of win2000 pro my question is will i be able to completely remove lindows from my harddrive using win2000 clean install.also,will win2000 boot up on a non windows system??

You can set the cd as the first boot device in the bios, save and exit. You will be able to boot from the win2000 cd .
You can then reformat the drive which is offered during set up.

I’m not sure what hardware is in the lindows boxes, but I would find out and see if there is driver support for the hardware before installing 2000.
