CRASH In trouble Win95 HELP

I need help to install win95 on 486dx computer.
I am trying to load win95 ,and get to the point where setup asked
if I accept the licence.I click on yes and the screen puts on a
small black window which says Bootsecter Write !!! possible virus
contiue Y OR N with the hour glass on screen NO ARROW
everthing is frozen typing Y OR N does nothing nor does pressing any other key.
What is the problem and how can I cure it to continue to load win95
thanks in anticipation that someone can help me

woah im totally no expert on this matter, far from it but this seems like a boot sector virus or at least a serious prob with your boot sector. you tried to load from . id post below in the virus and security forum if i were you.
again i m not sure at all of this, it just kinda looks like that to me(dont want to scare you or so:-).)
from what are you installing? cdrom, disk, ...

yes I am loading from a cd disk
There is one other thing I forgot to mention
When booting up I notice that a line appears that says
ERROR PCI READ CONFIGURATION FAILURE
I have no PCI slots on the motherboard only ASA

Check if the Virus Protection is enabled in the BIOS. If it is, then disable it.

Make sure no antivirus programs are running in the background or are being loaded at the start.

That's the BIOS anti-virus kicking in. Disable it, as it's also a BIOS anti-do-anything-else-to-your-computer switch, and totally useless, more often frustrating, and obviously NOT what you want.

smokin In trouble win95

Thanks you guys for your help.
You were right,I dissabled BIAS boot virus and now everything is fine Loaded win95 no problems!!!
