A friend of mine just dropped off an NT workstation that during bootup blue screens and has a "physical memory dump" message at the bottom of the screen. Does anyone have any ideas how to begin to troubleshoot this problem. Thanks for any help in advance.

It could be a lot of things. Has anything hardware or software been added to the system? That would be the first step in trying to solve your problem.

this happened to me alot with Win2K pro. it turned out to be the memory that was the problem. there are free memory testers you can d/l www.cnet.com that will make a boot disk and test your memory for you. i suggest you do that just to be sure it's not the memory.
