File preview in Windows Explorer for XP

I was wondering if there was a way to enable the file preview in the Details view of Windows Explorer for Windows XP like there is in Windows 2000.

are you talking about th little preview of certain types of images in the left side of the window? It should do it automatically, but not all file types are supported. For instance, XP can't preview .PSD (Photoshop file).

If you want to change the type of info given, like date created, image size, etc. for the details panel, just go to view>choose details... it will bring up a dialogue box for you to check things. Be aware if you choose for it to show too much info, there can be a significant delay between clicking the icon and the detials showing up.
