You want to turn off the login screen completely or the fast user switching?

If so, go in Windows to Control Panel > User accounts.
Click on "Change type of log-in" (or simliar. It is the third of the three options there). And there uncheck the "use welcome screen".

i found that from what RJ posted

which login type are you talking about the ,,,office type login with the little box or the xp welcome screen......??

if it is the box type login screen just check the "use welcome screen". you should be able to delete the other account,, once you have that done,,it should boot right to the desktop...

im talking about the welcome screen...it only shows the account i dont want to use. I want to log into the administrator account, but i can only do it by using the office type box thing and typing in a password.
