Dat File
Win200 pro, whenever I boot I get a caution message that says: Trying to open a dat index file. Gives me the choice of what program to open it with or canceling it... I cancel it but get the same message the next time I boot the computer... any ideas?

Check the startup. I dont' know of any index.dat files that should load at startup, except maybe IE's cookie cache index.dat
Just clear the cache and see if that helps. |
