task managing
Im running on winME and i havent had any probs until like last week(well nothing like this) There are a bunch of things in my task manager that I cant close(if i try my comp freezes) and also i cant shut down, it just squeaks and restarts and tells me it didnt shut down correctly or simply freezes and wont shut off, i have virus scanned and its clean and i cant scandisk or defrag(i think it has something to do with those programs in my task manager), im also getting tons of script errors when i run norton to check for viruses(i can scan but thats all) and finally, my computer is out of hard drive space and despite my cleaning it out it keeps telling me that its between 30 and 70mb(only 32gb are actually used out of 38gb and yet the comp doesnt get it

Have you scanned for spyware? Try Spybot . Also boot into safe mode and try running scandisk and defrag. Keep us posted.

wow there were like 600 of those in that mother. but i think ive figured out the problem, its a goddamn worm in my scrsvr.exe file in windows, umm can i just delete that file?
