MS Outlook contacts

Hi

I have my new laptop and I copied all the *.pst and *.pab from my old PC. but the problem, whenever I open address book from my new laptop it prompt me this message THE ADDRESS LIST COULD NOT BE DISPLAYED.

any help please??? My OS is XP

It may seem crude but I just make a new folder and then from the Contacts Pane I Ctrl A , Ctrl C, then Ctrl V into it. Reverse the procedure on the new computer and there they are. I also keep a backup handy this way.

If for some reason I am traveling without a computer I take the disk with me. I can use my contacts on any computer that has Outlook without even installing them. Generally I throw my recent mail and any files that I am currently working on as well.
