stupid computer

Alright so i am trying to fix my brothers computer now, I need to formatt the hard drive, but the computer does not detect the cd-rom or floppy .

It is a packard bell p133 (shush) it was good when i was in 6th grade lol. I formatted it with my celeron 700, and then figured i could get away with throwing it into the p133 but i had no luck it still cant find the cd-rom or floppy...

They appear to be hooked up right, but when when i put it in the celeron 700 and im like format c:\ its like uhhh no...

Im trying to install win98SE , ive never had a problem before, but now it just seems to really really hate me.

Any ideas ? need more info?

Hi weezy,
If you are saying you moved the hard drive from one machine to another, you probably need to do the ENUM trick. It erases all of the old configuration files from the hard drive and lets it set up the new configuration of the new machine. Click this link to read a thread about how to do it.
