translation needed

hoi
i have a problem with a win 95 pc,
i usally run win 98 se and to opperate a network i need the nic installed and something that translates from dutch as "external acess adaptor" ( + all the nececary prtocols, eatch time one for the nic and one for the "external acess adaptor") does win 95 require the same settings and if so how would this addaptor be called in english????

Hi corosus

I think that the English term you're looking for is "network adaptor" (it would show up under that heading in Device Manager). The protocols are usually installed as part of the routine that installs the Network Adapter.
