Printing with Outlook '97
We have recently moved our users from Groupwise to Outlook '97, and one of our Exec's is having an issue. Apparently with Groupwise he was able to open an email with multiple attachments, select file - print, and everything would print out for him. With Outlook '97 he can't do that however, he has to open each attachment and print it seperately. Does anybody have an easy solution for this, I have been unable to find anything in Technet about this. We are moving to new PC's and XP shortly and that will fix the problem from what I understand, but we need to find a work around for the time being.
TIA |

Explicit Option (I think)
I am pretty sure that is an explicit option within Outlook 97.
Have you had a good look through the print / print setup menus and dialogues? You might try printing from 'outside' of the email (from the folder view), by selecting the email, then checking the options under File-Print or File-Print Setup. I am really damn sure it is explicity there as a check box or something, but I don't use Outlook 97 anymore so I cannot check. Post back either way! HTH, David. Thanks for the reply. We have not been able to find anything in the options of Outlook, however one of the guy's found a work around for it. I don't remember what it was, but he got it to work. Thanks for the effort.

Okay - found it (in the version I found on an old PC lying around at least - not sure if there are multiple 97 versions...).
Select the email from the folder view (don't open it, just select). Go into the page setup, and you will see an option to print all attachments (tick box). If you select that, it will print everything, email, attachments etc, and even number each page from 1 onwards if you want. HTH, David. |
