new MB CPU Old HD?
I am replacing MB, CPU, and Ram. What problems will I run into if I use my old HD
running XP Pro? Is it better to reformat and reinstall? Thanks |

No,
The ENUM trick will not work with W2K or XP. glc did come up with a method for W2K http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.p...threadid=43654 but as yet, no one has reported using it with XP. Unless you want to experiment, I think your easiest option is to backup your data, wipe the HD, and do a clean install of XP. You can't go wrong with that approach. HTH |

From what I hear, XP can take care of itself very nicely here all by itself.
