XP's LIMIT?

is there a limit on the amount of RAM in XP? just wondering? for so how much?

I think it's 4GB, so you shouldn't worry.

WinXP doesn't have a RAM limit like Win9x does (although, I'm not sure if there is an actual limit...probably more than 3GB). I think the limiting factor would be the amount of RAM your motherboard supports.

The actual ram limit would be the theoretical limit of the processor. At least, that is what billy says.

RAM limit is based on the motherboard's chipset, not the CPU...however, at last count, XP could access 10 gig (probably more), and up to 2 tB of hard drive(s).
