cannot delete file or folder
I downloaded an episode of the simpsons and now I can't delete it. I get a message saying: cannot delete file or folder. It is being used by another person or program. I tried safemode with no result. Also, my computer is running much slower (maybe its just coincidence, I have no idea)

Hi Suz135... welcome to PCMech
Does the program (MS mediaplayer, Realplayer, etc.) you were trying to view the episode with open in your taskbar when you boot, even into safemode? If it's always there, try removing it from your start up folder thru msconfig. Also, what OS are you using? Good luck

Usually because the download is corrupt or incomplete.
Delete it from command line, should work fine. |
