Angry Fire Everyone Read This!

Hey everyone!!
Man, I NEED some help right now. I'm getting so frustrated with this bloody computer!!

Ok, I've got XP pro, over 700mb DDR Ram, GeForce 2 graphics card, 60gig hard disk, sb audigy and other stuff.

I'm gettin so pissed off by my computer continually restarting. Recently it's become so frequent. For example, u create a new folder on yoru desktop, put something in it. Then when u click to open the foler, the system restarts. This happens continually. Also, at other times the computer will simply restart without warning.

ALWAYS on the error message when I'm back in windows, the problem is related to PRODUCT: 256_1.

Can someone please give me some help or advice?

Does anyoen think it's simply better to reformat the whole computer and start fresh?

I'll be thankful for any advice. thanks a lot!

Could also be a conflict with your video card.

Hi Rwalls,

Try this:

Press WinKey-Break (or start/run 'sysdm.cpl') click Advanced Tab Start Up... area Settings button

Remove check from "Automatically Restart"

On the next reboot you will be able to read the error that caused the restart.
