Exclamation win 98 boot error

does anybody have the fix for the error on boot in win 98 where gets error "please enter name of command interpreter"????
this is what has been done
Cant get into safe mode, tried sys c: and fdisk/mbr...BUT fdisk doesnt see
partitions...getting invaild media type reading drive c......drives partitioned...
damn it....FLATTEN YE RECKON???
please reply asap!!

Sounds like your drive has either crashed or been wiped out. If you run FDISK, does it even find the hard drive? Does the BIOS find the hard drive?
