DMA tickbox

How do I turn DMA on and off for cd drives in win 2K.. the tick box aint where it used to be in NT

how about going through device manager, down to ata/atapi controllers, then properties of your primary & secondary ide controller. is that what you are looking for?

Hmmm... yes that gets the right option up - to be quite honest I was trying to get a screenshot of one of the options for my client and I was hoping that it would look the same as the NT equivalent but obviously not...

Cheers anyway I'll be setting up NT now then...
