Explorer window at startup
Hi all,
I just installed an dsl modem and in the installation, the program has set it so that everytime I boot my computer a folder window containing the manual, etc. opens up on the desktop. This is the most annoying thing. Does anyone know how i can get rid of this? There is no option to remove it in the program and its not in the Startup folder. Any suggestions would be appreciated. TIA -Zeqe |

try looking for it in the registry.
go start-run and type regedit HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Microsoft>Windows>CurrentVersion>Run Look in there for the key that contains the info on the folder you're looking at. you can delete from there. i would suggest making a backup before you edit the registry, though.

This little baby http://downloads-zdnet.com.com/3000-....html?tag=list Its a registry cleaner that allows you to see what programs load on start up. -Zeqe |
