How to download IE6.1 installation package (MS seem to have changed update site?)

Hi All,

I cannot seem to access the old corporate section on the MS website to download the complete installation package for IE6.1.

I only seem to be able to get the half-meg installation 'manager' application that then downloads the main files, but I would like the whole lot to put on a CD and update a number of PCs from without having to download it multiple times.

Is this still possible?

Thanks,

David.

Hi logan,

Thanks for that.

I think that download just gives me the 500Kb 'setup' file (ie6setup.exe).

That executable then controls the real download (up to 80Mb).

I was hoping to be able to get that full download, the equivalent of what is on the update CDs that you see sometimes.

Is that possible?

Thanks,

David.
