What to install of VIA 4-in-1's
I can never remember this. I have an AMD 761 Northbridge and a VIA VT82C686B Southbridge. What driver do I not install of the 4-in-1's again? I will write it down this time.
Thanks. |

Hi Astrotolus,
What OS are you using? If it's XP, then No 4-in-1 installation is necessary. TwoRails |

This is a quote from Via arena, "The 4in1 drivers automatically detect your operating system and will install only what is necessary." If you still want to know what is getting installed look here. Scroll down to the bottom. HTH

Ok, I did see that but someone else told me "just INSTALL the EIDE drivers. You do not need anything else", and then "yep, just install the EIDE drivers because that is the only function on the via southbridge that via makes drivers for." I was just confused with the IDE filter and IDE miniport drivers. Maybe if I knew what each was for then I might remember it.
Thanks. |
